Why work with UK Building Control

We provide a professional service and technical guidance on how to comply with the building regulations to ensure every project meets building regulations efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. We are direct, local, and easy to reach.

Following a building regulations application, we will provide you with an inspection regime tailor made for your project. Inspection reports will be provided to the current building owner on request, and to the building control applicant as soon as possible following inspection.

The inspector assigned to your project will be local and have a good understanding of the local area. The inspector can also be contacted directly.

We aim to carry out the design stage assessment of plans within 10 working days. To book site inspections, we require at least 24 hours' notice.

  • Direct contact with the inspector handling your job — no call centre, no handovers.
  • Local knowledge of the North East and Carlisle, with the flexibility to fit around site schedules.
  • Straightforward, efficient service for both domestic and commercial work.
  • Completion certificates, handled properly and on time.
